The "two horse race" line had run since December; from 6 February new bilingual versions became the page's widest-reaching ads, alongside "time for new leadership for Wales", a direct framing against Reform. These sat with a rail ad ("Northern Powerhouse Rail = North of England, not North Wales") and the 20-hours free-childcare pledge. Spend per ad stayed small.

A short local ad from 29 January ("BREAKING: Yet another poll shows only Labour can beat Reform in Gorton and Denton") used polling to argue for tactical support.

What changed

What this week tells us

  • Plaid relaunched its "two horse race" ads with new versions on 6 February, and they became the page's main message.
  • The Conservatives' rural videos started on 6–7 February, replacing petitions as the page's main output.
  • Labour's and the Greens' competing anti-Reform claims in Gorton & Denton ran side by side through the week.
