Who is responsible
Message & Method is the data controller. Contact us about your data at privacy@messagemethod.co.uk.
What we keep
Your email address, your first name if you give it, which editions you chose (daily update, weekly report, Saturday roundup), the wording you agreed to and when, and the page you signed up on. We don't collect anything else through the form, and the site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why, and on what basis
Only to send you the editions you chose. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by contacting us.
Where it is held and who can see it
Sign-ups are stored in a private database on Cloudflare, in its Western Europe region. If we use an email delivery service to send the editions, it will process your address only to deliver them. We don't sell your details or share them with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email address and the date you left, so we don't email you again by mistake.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them, by contacting privacy@messagemethod.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
