Carried-over ads made up the week: a shared Guardian piece on working parents (over a million impressions), "4.2 million additional appointments in the NHS" and "Labour is the party of working people". An attack video, "The mask has slipped", accused Farage of backing tax cuts for the richest while voting against sick pay; it ended on 22 July.

Every ad was a version of one petition, started on 16 July, accusing the "Tory government" of a £7 billion asylum "betrayal" and directing people to AfghanCoverUp.com to sign. The aim was list-building: collecting contact details from people angry about the issue. The video version reached 400K–450K.
