Two ads started this week and became the page's main messages: a shared Guardian article on supporting working parents (from 3 July, over a million impressions) and an NHS claim timed to the anniversary, "4.2 million additional appointments in the NHS since July last year". Attack ads on Farage, over the car industry and over sick pay, ran alongside.

Three low-cost image ads, each under £100, urged people to join and framed Plaid as "the only party fighting for fair funding" for Wales, citing real-terms cuts and HS2 money. All ended on 3 or 4 July.

What changed

What this week tells us

  • Labour's working-parents ad started on 3 July and stayed its widest-reaching ad through July.
  • Plaid Cymru's funding ads ended on 3 and 4 July.
  • Reform UK showed no ads for this week, which is unusual for the page.
