New ads from 20 January used Northern Powerhouse Rail as an example of a project "labelled 'England-and-Wales' by Labour" and asked people to sign a petition, in English and Welsh. This is list-building around a grievance. The "two horse race" with Reform, free-childcare and NHS ads continued from earlier in January.

Nigel Farage doesn't want Labour to fix the NHS because he doesn't believe in the NHS. That's why he'll hate that in November, waiting lists fell by the second highest amount in 15 years.

Four videos started on 22 January: "We're cutting the cost of living", "This year, Britain will turn a corner", a testimonial-style "Don't just take it from us", and an attack saying Farage "doesn't believe in the NHS". They were the start of the campaign that led Labour's page into February.

Ads started in early January framed the SNP as protecting public services and energy-rich Scotland's households. A small local ad contrasted Labour closing a library with the SNP securing a community hub and asked for votes "On 22 January". Survey-linked versions collected contacts.
